The 2022 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, Computer Vision and Machine Learning (IEEE-ICICML 2022), sponsored by the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Shandong University of Technology and IEEE Xi'an Branch, was successfully held. The meeting was held online. Associate Professor Gao Mingliang from the School of Electrical Engineering served as the chairman of the organizing committee, and Professor Gwanggil Jeon served as the publishing chairman.

At the meeting, more than 100 experts and scholars from all over the world shared professional experience, exchanged the latest ideas, displayed research results, and discussed the challenges faced by the development of this field around the latest research results in the computer field such as image and visual processing and machine learning. The key challenges and research directions of the research have promoted the development and application of theories and technologies in this field in universities and enterprises.
